Challenges

Many small and medium-sized Swedish businesses lack visibility online, making it difficult for potential customers to find them. Hitta.se faced the challenge of communicating the value of a complete, optimized listing to businesses that didn't understand how visibility impacts lead generation. Without a clear way to show businesses their current visibility gaps, Hitta.se struggled to convert prospects into customers. The manual process of explaining listing optimization was time-consuming, inconsistent and failed to create urgency for businesses to act. This meant lost opportunities to acquire customers and reduced lifetime value through lower engagement.

1. Strategy

Hitta.se decided to build a self-serve lead magnet designed to support their current customer acquisition.

The tool needed to accomplish multiple objectives simultaneously:

  • Provide genuine value to prospects
  • Educate them about their visibility gaps
  • Qualify leads based on business profile and needs
  • Feed qualified contacts directly into the sales pipeline with context

We supported them to build a tool that served the customer first while supporting the sales team's work so that Hitta.se could attract inbound prospects who were already motivated and informed to improve conversion rates and enable their sales team to focus on closing rather than educating.

2. Design & Build

We developed the Online Visibility Scanner, which analyzes Swedish businesses' presence across major platforms including Google Business, Facebook, industry-specific directories, and Hitta.se itself. For each platform, we provide platform-specific insights on what's missing or incorrect, to help businesses understand where to focus their efforts.

The scanner provides:

  • Visibility scoring showing how optimized a prospect's online presence is
  • Visibility on business listing sites identifying which key directories and platforms they appear on across Sweden, and where gaps exist
  • Missing & Incorrect information flagging missing and inconsistent business details across the web
